File Retention & Deletion
Last updated: July 2026
How long files may be kept and how deletion requests work.
Policy draft notice
This page is an operational policy draft for client transparency before public launch. It is not legal advice. It has not been reviewed by outside counsel unless separately stated in writing. Policies may change before launch.
Plain-English summary
We may retain client files for operational delivery, support, billing records, and internal audit. You may request deletion; some records may be kept where required for business, billing, or legal record needs.
Why files may be retained
To complete and document your commission. To support preview/final delivery and revision history. To maintain billing and quote records tied to manual invoice workflow. To improve internal quality controls — not to sell your data.
Deletion requests
You may request deletion of uploaded materials or deliverables by contacting us with your order ID. We will review requests honestly and delete or anonymize where reasonably possible.
What may remain after deletion
Internal workflow audit logs, billing status history, and minimal order metadata may be retained even when files are deleted — for operational integrity and dispute resolution. Backups may persist for a limited period before rolling off.
Pre-launch notice
Retention periods and deletion procedures may be refined before public launch. This draft describes current operational intent.
Client responsibilities
Request deletion in writing, specify the order ID, and maintain your own backups before requesting removal.
The Imperium AI responsibilities
We do not promise instant deletion across all systems, but we handle requests in good faith without exposing deleted files publicly.
